growing up

These days I can say 'mamma, baba, ta (tai), aja (aj*.*= ajoba, aji), dudu (milk) and a few other words. I can actually scream out a few of them. I surprised Baba by shouting out to him as he came home from work. He was happy.

I don't like spoons in Mamma/Baba's hand. i.e they should not spoon feed me. I will eat food straight from their hands or my hands or with a a spoon in my hand.

I like to play with my big sisters toys. In fact if she takes any of her toys - I need to have them.

I have started running away when my parents want to change my clothes. It is a lot of fun. Mommy takes my clothes out - and they I run in the far corner of the bed. Then she has to chase me and catch me. Sometimes she gets irritated - says that tai would do the same.

Jumping on the bed is so much fun.

Plucking tomatoes is good fun - but I don't like to walk on the grass - especially as it has grown tall.

I like to eat pringles in the car. We have a box of pringles in the car. As soon as I sit in the car - I should get a chip in my hand.

I still like to suck my thumb. Thats how I fall asleep.

I love to sit on chairs. I like to try them out.

I love shoes. Baba says that when I grow up I will buy hundreds of shoes. If I see shoes - I need to wear them. Cant just keep them lying around.

Sucking the thumb - that was the habit of your Atya, when she was young. It is a psychological necessity for the children, so we never tried to dissuade her. She was sucking thumb before sleeping, I think, upto the age of five.
